Since the El Black is designed to take a beating and still perform like the day you bought it, it s got some features you won t find anywhere else.I started with a heavy-duty steel blade for long standout, then coated it with vinyl, so the blade won t rust, kink or bend. Both sides of the blade are marked for easy use and a triple riveted end hook caps it off like a pair of fangs waiting to grip whatever you re measuring.Outside, the impact resistant case is coated with a thick layer of Rhino Grip for comfort and added durability not to mention a layer of insulation on those cold winter days. An easy access thumb lock allows you to control the blade from the top, while an integrated bottom break allows you to control tape recoil from the bottom.
